Lin Meng

Lin (Leo) Meng is an accomplished professional in computational design and BIM management, currently serving as an Associate and Computational Design Leader at HDR since September 2019. Previously, Lin held the position of Design Technology Coordinator at Architectus, overseeing BIM management and modeling for high-profile projects across various sectors from September 2016 to May 2019. Lin's experience also includes work as a Project Coordinator at HDz Pty Ltd, where client liaison and collaboration with consultants were key responsibilities, as well as a teaching role at UNSW Australia Faculty of Built Environment focusing on Building Information Modelling. Lin’s foundational roles encompassed project coordination and steel detailing at WJF Engineering, along with early work as a tour guide and intern in customer service at UNSW IT Department. Lin is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Design at UNSW, building on a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Architecture and Structural Engineering from UNSW and additional studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
