Mark Dalton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and environmental planning. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President at HDR since 2013, Mark leads program management for HDR Alaska's Resources and Transportation programs, focusing on client development and staff mentoring. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of SVP and Department Manager for HDR Alaska from 1990, overseeing a significant growth from 60 to over 130 staff across multiple offices in Alaska. Mark's early career included a role as Senior Environmental Planner at the Municipality of Anchorage from 1985 to 1990, where responsibilities included managing environmental planning in compliance with Municipal Land Use Code. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Geology from Colby College, earned between 1975 and 1979.
