Mark Rocha, P.E., S.E. is currently the Advanced Digital Technology Lead at HDR, where they focus on implementing automation, software development, AI, and data science within the Building Engineering Services Group. From 2019 to 2024, Mark served as a Structural Engineer at HDR, specializing in the design and analysis of structural components for various projects including hospitals, courthouses, and jails. They began their career in the industry as a Structural EIT from 2012 to 2019 and also contributed as a teaching assistant for the Architectural Engineering program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2011, where they taught students various BIM software. Mark holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Southern Methodist University, obtained between 2014 and 2016.
