Robert Lafferty has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Strategic Technical Advisor for Power at HDR since August 2018. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a consultant in the energy industry, transitioning from being semi-retired. Robert held the position of President at Salix, Inc. (an Avista Corporation affiliate) from June 2014 to December 2017 and served as Subsidiary President for Strategic Business Development at Avista from March 2008 to May 2014, along with a role as Director of Power Supply. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Washington State University.
