Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown is a Senior Consultant at HDR since June 2020, bringing over three decades of experience in engineering and public works management. Previously, Stephen held various leadership roles at the Town of Cary from June 1997 to May 2020, including Director of Public Works and Utilities and Director of Water Resources. Before that, Stephen served as a Principal Engineer at Hazen and Sawyer from February 1989 to June 1997. Stephen's academic background includes a Master of Civil Engineering in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, as well as additional education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
