Reecha Sofat

Reecha Sofat is the Breckenridge Chair of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics. Currently serving as an NIHR Research Professor at the University of Liverpool and Vice President for Clinical at the British Pharmacological Society, they previously held the position of Head of Department at the University of Liverpool and were a Professor at UCL. Their research focuses on integrating data to enhance drug development and optimize the use of medicines, employing genomic, multi-omic, and real-world data. Reecha continues to contribute to academic and clinical pharmacology through roles such as Chair at the Professional Record Standards Body and Associate Director at Health Data Research UK. They are currently pursuing an MBBS and BSc in Neuroscience at UCL.
