Eleanor O'Rourke

Eleanor O'Rourke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in climate research, policy analysis, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of the WCRP Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP) International Project Office for both HE Space Operations and the European Space Agency since March 2022, Eleanor has also held roles as an expert reviewer and evaluator for various research programs. Prior to this, contributions span positions such as Research and Policy Analyst at Zero Waste Scotland, Oceanographic Services Section Manager at Marine Institute, and Director of International Project Office for CORDEX at SMHI. Eleanor's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Liverpool and a BSc from the University of East Anglia.
