Peter Vesterbacka

Peter Vesterbacka is a prominent entrepreneur and founder with extensive experience in developing innovative projects and communities. Currently serving as the Founder of FinEst Bay Area since May 2016, Peter is focused on establishing a tunnel between Helsinki and Tallinn to foster regional growth. As the Founder of Slush, launched in November 2008, Peter has contributed significantly to the tech and startup ecosystem. Co-founding multiple organizations, including FinestNinja and Edunation Finland, Peter aims to attract international university students to Finland. Additionally, Peter co-founded MobileMonday in 2000, which has evolved into a global mobile community, and served as the Mighty Eagle at Rovio Mobile Ltd. from May 2010 to June 2016. Other ventures include founding Some Bazaar and ConnectedDay and serving on the Board of Star Wreck Studios. Peter's educational background includes studies at Åbo Akademi University and Björneborgs Svenska Samskola.
