Alex Decker

Alex Decker has extensive work experience in the software industry. Alex currently holds the position of Principal Architect at HeadLight, a role they have been in since March 2021. Prior to this, Alex worked at Amazon as a Senior Software Development Engineer for seven years, from April 2014 to March 2021. Before joining Amazon, they served as the Head of Development for Assessment at Promethean from April 2008 to April 2014. Alex started their career at National Instruments as a Staff Software Engineer, where they worked from 2004 to 2008. Alex began their professional journey as a Field Service Technician at Carroll Business Systems from June 1997 to March 2000.

Alex Decker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Missouri University of Science and Technology in the years 2000 to 2004.
