Brad Gay

Brad Gay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Headset, where they oversaw all accounting activities, managed the month-end close process and reporting, and handled financial reporting, payroll, and cash management. Additionally, Brad managed the department, set priorities and goals, and played a key role in hiring new employees. Prior to this, Brad worked as a Controller at Headset, where they provided management and investors with monthly and ad-hoc reporting, managed accounting, finance, and reporting functions, and integrated Quickbooks with SaaSOptics and Salesforce to automate billing processes.

Before joining Headset, Brad worked at Fuse Networks as a Consulting Accountant and later as a Controller. In these roles, they gained experience in financial consulting and management, demonstrating their versatile skill set. Prior to that, Brad served as a Controller at Workplace Answers, where they provided financial expertise and managed daily accounting operations. Earlier in their career, Brad worked as an Accounting Manager at SparkFun Electronics, where they oversaw financial statements, managed financial issues and processes, and supervised a team of clerks.

Brad's career began as an Audit Associate at GHP Horwath, P.C., a local public accounting firm, where they conducted audits for various industries and clients, focusing on cash, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and liabilities. Brad worked independently and without supervision, demonstrating their ability to handle complex financial tasks.

Brad's work experience also includes a role as an Assistant Telecommunications Technician at Central Washington University, where they gained exposure to the telecommunications field. Overall, Brad has a strong background in finance, accounting, and management across various industries, showcasing their ability to adapt and contribute effectively in different organizational settings.

Brad Gay completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University between 2002 and 2006. Brad also simultaneously earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance during the same time period. Additionally, Brad pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Professional Accountancy from Central Washington University between 2006 and 2007.
