Bo Shang is a postdoctoral researcher at The City College of New York, where they have focused on crack segmentation using machine learning. With a Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition from Northeastern University, Bo has also served as an adjunct assistant professor and taught various engineering courses. Prior to their current role, they worked as a junior researcher at UC Merced, contributed to fractional order drone vision control, and held a postdoctoral fellowship at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they developed algorithms for bridge inspection. Currently, Bo is also a software engineering fellow at Headstarter AI, where they are building multiple AI projects.
