Naveen Thomas has spearheaded Headstreams, an NGO focused on human development, since 2008, enhancing rural livelihoods and improving learning outcomes for children and youth in underserved communities in Karnataka, India. Naveen's extensive experience includes disaster response, health research, and policy analysis within the Community Health Cell and the WHO Watch Team of the People's Health Movement. Additionally, they design and facilitate academic programs in Human Development in collaboration with various universities. Naveen holds a Master's and Doctoral degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and has contributed to academia by teaching Professional Ethics and serving on the Board of Studies of Social Work.
