Dr. Amy Vent

Dr. Amy Vent is a highly experienced clinical psychologist and owner of Vivid Mind Psychology, PLLC, where since January 2020, Dr. Amy has provided psychotherapy, evaluation, and testing to diverse populations, including veterans and youth in juvenile justice. Additionally, Dr. Vent serves as a clinical psychology consultant for The Headstrong Project and previously worked for Logistics Health Incorporated, assessing veterans under the Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disability Examinations program. Dr. Vent held the position of Chief of Treatment Services at the NY State Office of Children and Family Services, where responsibilities included therapy, assessment, and supervision of staff for youth programs. Their earlier experience includes a role as a psychologist at the same agency and teaching as an adjunct professor at SUNY. Dr. Vent earned a Doctor of Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American University.
