Carly Hare

Carly Hare is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in philanthropy, equity advocacy, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Headwaters Foundation, Carly previously held key positions including Portfolio Director at The Colorado Health Foundation, Executive Director at Culture Surge, and Chair of the Colorado Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission. As an Independent Consultant since 2008, Carly has delivered strategic consulting and coaching to various organizations, focusing on equity assessments and fundraising strategies. Notable past roles include National Director of CHANGE Philanthropy and Executive Director of Native Americans in Philanthropy, where Carly advanced Indigenous values in philanthropic practices. Carly holds a degree in Mass Communications from Colorado Mesa University and has a strong commitment to promoting health equity and social justice across diverse communities.
