Shane Keys has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Consultant/Senior Business Analyst at Optus, where they provided services related to business process redesign and technical and business specifications. In 2002, they joined the NSW Attorney General's Department as a Procedures Management/Senior Business Analyst, working on the implementation of a web-based Courts Administration System. From 2005 to 2007, Keys worked as a Consultant/Senior Technical Business Analyst at WorkCover NSW, contributing to the development of the Scheme Design system. In 2007, they joined the Department of Family and Community Services, first as a Senior Business Analyst, then as a Business Process Manager, and later as a Project Manager, overseeing various projects related to process improvement and system redesign. Keys also worked as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager at the Federal Court of Australia in 2011 and at NSW Health from 2012 to 2013. In 2016, they joined eHealth NSW as a Senior Project Manager, leading projects related to Skype rollout and telephony. In 2018, they joined NSW Treasury as a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis.
