Daniel Shurtleff

Daniel Shurtleff, CPA, currently serves as an Accounting Senior Manager at HealthEquity since November 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Audit & Assurance Senior at Deloitte from September 2019 to November 2023, where responsibilities included performing assurance engagements for clients primarily in the real estate, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors while ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations. Daniel also worked as a Senior Accountant at Conservice The Utility Experts® from October 2016 to September 2019, contributing to the transition from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics and managing customer billing and collections. An Audit & Assurance Intern at Deloitte briefly in early 2018, Daniel gained insight into audit methodologies and developed client relationships. Early career experience includes serving as an Accounting Assistant at Utah State University and a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Utah State University.
