We launched in 2010 to provide in-depth, insider health coverage to the Canadian public. We've evolved to become an important source of health news and expert opinion.

Our competitive advantage is our access. Started from within a hospital research institute, supported by the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, and advised by health system leaders, we work amongst the individuals providing frontline care and doing ground-breaking research and advocacy.

We have three aims: be a trusted source of health media, provide open source content that is free to read and republish, and be a platform to teach health professionals and academics how to write for and speak to the public.
