Nathan Brown has extensive experience in the field of chemistry and chemical informatics. Nathan is currently the Director of Digital Chemistry at Healx. Prior to this, they held various roles such as Committee Chair and Committee Member at The UK-QSAR & Chemoinformatics Group, and Committee Member at The Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemical Information and Computer Applications Group. Nathan served as a Member of the Editorial Advisory Board at the American Chemical Society and a Member of the International Advisory Board at ChemMedChem. Nathan was also the Head of Chemoinformatics at BenevolentAI. In addition, Nathan Brown has experience in the field of cancer research, having served as the Head of In Silico Medicinal Chemistry at The Institute of Cancer Research. Nathan has also authored a book for the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Nathan Brown obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing from Robert Gordon University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Afterward, they pursued a PhD in Chemoinformatics at The University of Sheffield from 1999 to 2002. In April 2021, Nathan Brown earned the certification of "Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry" from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
