Stacey Popko

Stacey Popko, MD, MBA, is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in clinical content development and management roles, currently serving as HearstLab Scout since October 2021, where expertise is provided to founders of women-led startups and potential investments are vetted. As Associate Vice President and Managing Editor at MCG Health since December 2014, Stacey has developed clinical content, contributed to generative AI solutions, and led a team of 14 professionals. Previous roles at CIGNA Healthcare included Chief Medical Officer for onsite health initiatives and various leadership positions in medical direction and health advocacy. Educational credentials include an MD from Drexel University College of Medicine and an MBA from Waynesburg University, alongside a BA in Premedical Sciences from Lehigh University.
