Vanessa Vila

Vanessa Vila is a finance professional currently serving as a HearstLab Scout since January 2024, where responsibilities include evaluating potential investments for HearstLab and advising early-stage, women-led startups on financial modeling and investment strategies. With extensive experience at A+E Networks since April 2017, Vanessa holds the position of Vice President Finance and Planning, Global Content Licensing, and has progressed through roles in international financial planning and analysis. Prior experience includes senior management and financial controlling roles at Groupe Rocher and auditing positions at Capgemini and LVMH. Vanessa Vila holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance from Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE, an MBA in Financial Planning and Services from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Finance from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
