Alex Podobas

Alex Podobas has worked as the CTO for HeartCloud, Inc. since 2018, overseeing the development of their platform of apps for individuals and medical professionals.

Alex also worked as the CTO at BrainCloud.io starting in 2018.

Before that, Alex was a Senior Software Developer/DevOps and Information Security Lead at UCLA Health from 2016 to 2018.

Prior to that, they were an Infrastructure Engineer at CloudCompli from 2016 to 2017, where they managed backend infrastructure using the Chef stack of cloud automation tools.

From 2008 to 2016, Alex worked as a Senior IT Security Analyst at UCLA Information Technology Services, leading a team focused on identifying and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Alex also has previous experience as a Partner and Vice President of Operations at AnodyneSoft LLC from 2009 to 2012.

Alex Podobas attended UCLA from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science with honors. Alex then went on to receive a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from UC Irvine from 2014 to 2017, specializing in Intellectual Property Law, Cyberlaw, Data Security, and Privacy. Prior to their university education, they obtained a High School Diploma from San Clemente High School in 2007, completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. Additionally, Alex Podobas pursued further studies at UC Irvine in the field of Law, completing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 2014 to 2017.
