Greg Williamson

Director Of Software Engineering at HeartFlow

Greg Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Greg began their career as a Research Assistant at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, where they tested reflectance transformation imaging for art condition tracking. Greg then joined New Mexico Highlands University as a Graphic Designer and later a Graduate Assistant, where they worked on improving computer vision algorithms and also used Adobe Creative Suite for design work.

Greg then transitioned to Ideum, initially working as a Multitouch Developer and later as a Computer Vision Researcher. In these roles, they developed expertise in multitouch technology and conducted research on computer vision.

Following their time at Ideum, Greg joined Stellar Science Ltd Co as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and eventually became a Senior Staff Software Engineer. Greg played a key role in developing hybrid desktop/web applications and contributed to UI/UX design, coding, and code review processes.

Currently, Greg is working at HeartFlow, Inc, where they first served as an Engineering Manager and has now taken on the role of Director of Software Engineering.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated strong technical skills in areas such as software engineering, UI/UX design, computer vision, and graphic design. Greg has also showcased leadership abilities through their management roles.

Greg Williamson earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from New Mexico Highlands University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Classical Guitar Performance from The University of New Mexico between 2006 and 2010.
