Nikhil Pai

Nikhil Pai is a Co-Founder at Hearth. Nikhil has also previously worked as a Front-end Engineering Intern at Slack Technologies, Inc from June 2015 to September 2015, where they developed client side feature allowing for the creation of custom handles for a set of slack members. Nikhil also assisted Product Manager in designing and specifying features for enterprise customers. Prior to that, they were also the Co-Founder/Web Development Lead at BarLift from January 2015 to June 2015, where they founded a business to allow bars to promote to students on low traffic nights. 20 local bars generated $25,000 in incremental revenue over six weeks with 2000+ college students using BarLift.

Additionally, Nikhil has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Groupon from June 2014 to August 2014, where they shipped consumer-facing features for Groupon’s homepage, such as a redesign of the hero deal and a recently viewed widget that generated millions of dollars in marginal yearly revenue. Nikhil was also responsible for committing and reviewing bug fixes and refactors to homepage’s node.js code base for weekly deploys. Furthermore, they on boarded other teams onto homepage services and implemented an internal API.

Before Groupon, Nikhil worked as a UI/UX Design Intern at SpotMe Fitness Company from June 2013 to September 2013.

Nikhil Pai has a degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and a degree from the American School of Paris.
