Will Hewitt

Will Hewitt is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer. Will has been working in the industry since 2015. In 2018, they became the Founder & CEO of HeartLab, a MedTech and Surgery Investment Committee Member and Physical Sciences Investment Committee Member of Return On Science, an Honorary Academic at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, a Research Engineer at Toku Eyes, and an Electrical Team Member of the University of Auckland Formula SAE Team. In 2017, they became the Managing Director of Ventworks, an evolution of MOVO, the first 'Internet of Things' venture they initiated. Ventworks develops innovative real-time data visualisation applications. In 2015, they co-founded ThnkBot, developing electronics kits designed for school use. Will'srole at the company was technical (optimising the design for mass-production) and managerial (coordinating other team members).

Will Hewitt has completed a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Auckland, which they attended from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Nelson College from 2013 to 2016, where they achieved NCEA Levels 1 (Excellence) and 2 (Merit).
