David R. has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2004. David began their career at London Bar and Kitchen LTD, where they created a vertically integrated company, a B2B model which supplied the industry with a combination of bespoke and standard hardware solutions. In 2016, they took a role at Luggage Lockers, designing a locker control system which managed the opening and closing of the doors. In 2015, they worked at Betahaus, designing and constructing a professional electronics lab. David also worked at Miito GmbH, responsible for designing the main PCB and energy harvesting rod PCB. In 2017, they began working at Next Big Thing AG as a Senior Hardware Engineer, leading the research and development of multiple ground breaking products. David also worked at METR Building Management Systems GmbH, developing the Metr range of products relating to the management of building sensors, heat, water, gas, etc. In 2017, they began working at Part-Time Scientists GmbH, responsible for the wheel drive, covering mechanical, thermal and power, driving the BLDC motors. Finally, in 2021, they founded Heatle.
David R. completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from University Westminster London between 1996 and 2000. David also studied Mechanical Electronic Engineering at Leggatts, Hatch End.
