Jonathan Rosenberg

Jonathan Rosenberg is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hebrew Public since December 2013 and serves as a Board Member for the National Center for Special Education in Charter Schools since 2015. Previously, Rosenberg held board member positions at Ascend Public Charter Schools and the Coalition of Diverse Charter Schools, and served as the Executive Director of ROADS Charter High Schools from 2012 to 2013. With a background that includes leading Repair the World as President & CEO from 2009 to 2012 and directing Roads to Success from 2004 to 2009, Rosenberg has positioned himself as a leader in education reform. As a former Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, Rosenberg taught seminars focused on children and the law, and as Chairperson of the Committee on Education and the Law for the New York City Bar Association, co-authored significant reports on discrimination in education. Rosenberg's legal experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel for Edison Schools Inc. between 2000 and 2004. Education includes a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
