Will Gaddy has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Will started their professional career as the Chairman and President of GemVR Corp in 2001, where they specialized in Aviation Services, IP advisory and consulting, media workflow, CDN, and delivery optimization, broadcast workflows, and virtual reality technologies. Will also provided aerial services such as 4K VR aerial cinematography and GIS mapping/photogrammetry.

In 2008, Will Gaddy became the CTO and Account Manager of A2Zlogix Inc., a software company focused on the creation, efficient delivery, and monetization of rich media. Will played a significant role in securing multi-million dollar investments for the company.

From 2016 onwards, Will Gaddy held multiple advisory and executive roles in various organizations. Will co-founded Speed of Sound Software, Inc., a start-up software business specializing in audio production automation solutions. Additionally, they served as the EVP of Business Development and a member of the Board of Advisors for Hecate Networks, where they contributed to the development of a deep-learning AI-based video analysis platform.

In 2017, Will Gaddy became a Founding Member and Ambassador/Advisor for the Certified Remote Pilots Association of America, representing non-hobbyist drone flyers. Will also joined DroneVX as a Board of Advisors member, where they advised on the legality and security aspects of drone-captured media using computer vision and machine learning algorithms.

In 2017-2018, Will Gaddy worked as the Director of Computer Vision and Compute Pipeline at ConditionOne, an award-winning VR studio and technology company. Will was responsible for running a fully automated production pipeline to create high-quality 3D 360 videos.

In 2018, Will Gaddy took on the role of a Technical Advisor at KeyCast, an undisclosed company, and became an Advisor at Airzus, a platform focused on incorporating aerial photography and videography into marketing efforts.

In 2019, Will Gaddy worked as a Computer Vision and AI Engineer at Saucon Technologies.

Will Gaddy attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Computer Engineering. Will did not mention obtaining a degree during this time. In addition to their education, they have obtained various certifications including CompTIA A+ certification in July 2021 and Amateur Radio License, Extra Class from the Federal Communications Commission in May 2019. Will also holds certifications from FEMA for radiological emergency management, the national response framework, the national incident management system, and the initial action incident. Furthermore, they have certifications from Gold Seal Ground School for remote pilot ground school and SUAS night operations training endorsement. Will also has certifications and licenses from the Federal Aviation Administration, including FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot with SUAS rating, Certificate of Waiver or Authorization for daylight operation, and a Long Term SUAS Long Term Waiver for Class B airspace in NYC. In addition, they hold a North Carolina UAS Commercial Operator Permit from the State of North Carolina DOT.
