Ed Opitz

Ed Opitz currently serves as the Director of Safety at Hecla Mining Company, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this, Ed Opitz had a distinguished career at Kinross Gold Corporation from January 1999 to September 2022, where roles included Senior Vice President of Safety & Sustainability and Vice President of Safety and Sustainability, focusing on health and safety, environmental policies, and corporate responsibility.
