Hecla Mining
Fred Stone has extensive experience in the field of chemistry and mining, currently serving as a Laboratory Assistant at Hecla Mining since April 2016 while also running their own consulting business, Alchem Services, LLC, since October 2013. Prior to these roles, Fred was the Chief Chemist at Formation Metals Inc. from April 2002 to October 2013, overseeing incoming shipments for quality control at Sunshine Precious Metals refinery. Early career experience includes a position as a Chemist at Teck Cominco Alaska Inc. from 1989 to 1991. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Montana Tech-College of Technology.
