Seth Hooper

Seth Hooper is an Exploration Manager at Hecla Mining Company, overseeing projects in Alaska since 2025. Previously, Seth held roles as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Hecla Greens Creek Mining Company and as an Engineering Geologist II for the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities. Seth's earlier experience includes positions as an Exploration Geologist with Sumitomo Metal Mining Pogo LLC and Metallogeny, Inc., as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. An advocate for geoscience, Seth volunteered with the U.S. Geological Survey, contributing to the evaluation of geologic structures across multiple states.
