Mary Ruppenthal

Mary Ruppenthal is an Associate Principal at HED. Mary has over 22 years of experience in all phases of project delivery, office leadership and mentoring roles in high performance educational architecture. Mary is passionate about firm health, internal and external relationships, and creating and maintaining valuable client relationships.

Some of their recent projects include the Ocean K-8 CS with LAUSD, Garfield HS New Classroom and Auditorium, and Monsenor Oscar Romero Charter School with YPI and PCS.

Mary Ruppenthal has a M. Arch from University of California, Berkeley, a B.S. from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is certified from the Design-Build Institute of America as a Designated Design-Build Professional, Autodesk as a Certified Building Performance Analyst (BPA), Construction Specifications Institute as a Certified Construction Documents Technologist (CTD), California Architects Board as a Licensed Architect - CA License #30908, and U.S. Green Building Council - Northern California Chapter as a LEED Accredited Professional.
