Allan Trimmer is the Head of Product (Alternatives) at abrdn, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as the Global Product Development Manager at Standard Life Investments from 2004 to 2015, and later as the Head of International Product Development at Aberdeen Standard Investments from 2015 to 2017. Allan currently also holds the role of Head of Product Development (Liquid Markets) at Aberdeen since 2018 and represents Hedera on its Governing Council since 2025. They are pursuing a MA (Hons) in Geography at Edinburgh University.
