Imad Wardé has worked in a variety of roles in the finance industry since 1998. Imad began their career at Banque CPR as a Prop Trading Assistant in Volatility Arbitrage. In 1999 they moved to Sophis as a Post Sales Consultant. In 2000, they joined Hiram Finance as a Consultant in Risk and Crisis Management. In 2004 they joined BANQUE NEUFLIZE OBC as a Hedge Fund Risk Manager, where they designed and coded a front to back office system. In 2006 they joined Edmond de Rothschild as a Hedge Fund Risk Manager, where they were responsible for obtaining regulatory approval from AMF. Imad then returned to HedgeGuard in 2006 in the role of Product Strategy. From 2010 to 2015 they helped the team close the series A round, open offices in Dublin and London, set up the legal/financial and administrative functions, implement the marketing and sales strategy, and architect and code the first versions of the software. In 2018 they became the CEO of HedgeGuard and helped the team launch their crypto offering and grow the company to 60 people in 5 locations. Imad remained in this role until 2020.

Imad Wardé began their educational journey in 1992, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the American University of Beirut. Imad then furthered their studies at ESSEC Business School, where they earned a Diploma in Financial Markets in 1998.
