Álvaro de Veciana possesses extensive experience in management and business development across Africa, particularly in the sectors of transport, technology, and research. Currently serving as General Manager for Angola at Fleetch since May 2023, Álvaro previously held several leadership roles at Heetch, including General Manager Africa and Regional Director for Angola and Algeria. Álvaro's background also includes significant contributions as Business Development Manager and Insights Manager at Veylinx, where responsibilities encompassed account management and innovation testing for major global clients. As a co-founder and Research Director at Afriqinsights, Álvaro focused on critical research initiatives for multilateral institutions in Africa. Early career experiences included roles as Analyst and Project Manager at Sagaci Research, contributing to comprehensive research methodologies. Álvaro holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Maastricht University.
