Hei Studio was founded in 2023 by Wenie Martin, an architect, educator, and spatial thinker. With a belief that architecture must nurture empathy, Hei Studio emerges as a creative platform rooted in intention, connection, and quiet resilience. Operating from Jakarta,the studio positions itself not merely as a design house, but as a thinking–doing collective, joining research, collaboration, and praxis. Inspired by the idea that architecture should respond to the lived experience of its inhabitants, Hei Studio works at the intersection between
human scale, ecological awareness, and spatial poetics.

Human.
Everything begins with people — how they move, interact, and feel within space. Human means designing with empathy: observing everyday life and translating it into form, light, material, and atmosphere that nurture the human experience.
Architecture, for us, is not just about constructing buildings but about crafting spaces that connect, comfort, and inspire.

Earth.
Every spatial intervention is a dialogue with the earth. Earth represents ecological awareness and contextual sensitivity — understanding the site, the climate, and the cultural landscape. We believes that meaningful architecture should grow from its ground, not merely stand upon it. Sustainability, therefore, is not only about effi ciency but about harmony — between people, nature, and place.

Intention.
Every form carries a reason. Intention refl ects clarity and consciousness in design — every line, void, and volume is born from thoughtful purpose, not decoration or chance. It is about asking why, for whom, and to what impact, so that architecture becomes an act of awareness and integrity.
