Benjamin Sim is a seasoned data science professional with a rich background in advanced analytics and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science at The HEINEKEN Company since August 2020, Benjamin previously held key positions at MTN, including Senior Manager of Data Science and Advanced Analytics, where responsibilities included establishing a new data science team and leveraging machine learning to enhance revenue streams. Earlier roles at MTN involved significant contributions to network planning and capacity optimization, as well as serving as a technical lead for initiatives like Smart Capex. Benjamin holds both a Master of Science in Engineering (Telecommunications) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Information) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
