Leonie Simons

Leonie Simons is an experienced ESG Director at The HEINEKEN Company since September 2012, where responsibilities include integrating the Brew a Better World 2030 ambitions into corporate operations and enhancing transparency in sustainability initiatives. Previous roles include Company Secretary and Lawyer for Heineken N.V., providing legal and corporate governance advice, as well as a Senior Associate at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, focusing on litigation and regulatory matters. Leonie has also engaged in business development for international arbitration. Educational qualifications include executive programs in Corporate Sustainability Management from Yale School of Management and INSEAD, among other esteemed institutions, culminating in a law degree from the University of Groningen.
