Our story begins with Dr. Swarupa Rani Basani, a food scientist who spent 18 years working with toxic residues in foods. Her deep concern about the chemical overload in modern diets gave rise to a bold vision: to bring back clean, authentic, and traditionally prepared Indian foods. In 2021, with the support of her husband Mr. Vijay Bhasker Reddy Basani, an expert in agricultural extension, that vision became a reality — and Hektapy was born under Basani Agro Innovations Pvt. Ltd.
