Chad Cummings

Chad Cummings is currently working as a Lead Scientist - Analytics at Helaina since February 2022. Prior to that, they were an Assay Development Scientist at Helaina from January 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Helaina, Chad worked at Modern Meadow as a Research Scientist - Analytics from April 2018 to December 2020.

Chad also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2017 to April 2018.

Chad began their professional career as a Graduate Student Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in 2011 and continued until 2016.

Chad Cummings earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer and Fiber Chemistry from Clemson University, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued higher education and received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016.
