Raysa Rosario

Raysa Rosario is an Associate Scientist at Helaina, where responsibilities include performing immunoassays to demonstrate the function, efficacy, and safety of effera™ since November 2022. Previously, Raysa served as a Research Associate and Laboratory Technician at Biotech Without Borders from June 2022 to September 2022, focusing on molecular biology procedures to develop low-cost protein reagents in E. coli. Prior roles include Research Assistant at the Center for Discovery and Innovation, where investigations into the role of Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cells in zebra finch vocal development took place, and Research Scholar at the University of Rochester Medical Center, researching adrenergic signaling's effects on Microglia-Purkinje neuron interactions. Raysa also gained early experience through internships and assistant roles at Downstate Health Sciences University, The City University of New York, and Global Citizenship Alliance. Raysa holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The City College of New York.
