Hele Mua means ‘to move forward’ in Hawaiian. We are a nonprofit driving Hawaii’s sustainability movement forward by hosting interactive beach cleanups. Our cleanups bridge tourism and local communities, while teaching cultural education and environmental stewardship.

At the heart of our mission is the commitment to bridge the gap between Hawaii's tourism industry and local communities. Our educational events foster a sense of kuleana (responsibility), encouraging both residents and visitors to adopt sustainable practices.
