We are a community focused retirement estate in the leafy suburbs of Pinelands. Whether you are looking for independent living in one of our spacious cottages or 24/7 nursing in our frail care centre or somewhere in between, we can assist you.

Apart from our dedicated staff and a beautiful garden setting, we also offer our residents access to occupational therapists, shopping trips, hairdressers, on-site activities such as knitting groups, exercise classes and covid permitting - day trips to visit beach or just take in the beauty of flower season.

Another of the unique services offered by the Helen Keller Society is the Low Vision Community Services which assists not only to our visually impaired residents, but the wider community of any age or means. Consultations take place either at our resource centre BY APPOINTMENT ONLY or through support groups throughout the Western Cape, and low vision consultations at the eye clinics at Groote Schuur, Tygerberg and Eerste Rivier Hospitals, through referrals from opthalmologists.
