Helicon Health is capturing the evidence base for NHS England to enable the transformation into a prevention service. Helicon Health is running the longest running (since June 2019) and largest (in terms of patient numbers and volumes of readings - 80,000 readings) research programme into the effectiveness of remote monitoring and virtual wards. In October 2022 the programme was extended from Lincolnshire ICB to Yorkshire & Humber through to April 2023 - gaining additional funding to grow participant numbers and additional ICB participation. 

Helicon Health partners with NHS organisations to facilitate early detection of a patient’s impending crisis in time to facilitate an early intervention and in turn reduce emergency admissions.

Helicon Health applies the world’s leading machine learning and healthcare virtualisation platforms - these are now available for immediate purchase by NHS and Local Authorities through CCS Framework GCLoud 13.

In January 2023 Helicon Health was announced as the delivery partner for NHS England / SBRI Healthcare programme to deliver Smart Inhaler technologies in Primary Care focused initially on reducing exacerbations and emergency hospital admissions amongst children and young with severe asthma. Helicon is a partner in this programmer with Adherium and University of Leicester.
