Werner Schunk

Werner Schunk has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the outdoor industry. Werner started their career in 1995 as the Company Owner and Managing Director of ICON Outdoor AG. Werner then held multiple roles as an Independent Agent and Distributor for companies such as G3 Genuine Guide Gear, Cascade Designs, and GOAL ZERO Mobile Solar Technology. In 2011, they joined The North Face as the Head Agency and also worked as an Independent Agent. In 2014, they moved to Eagle Creek as an Agency Sales representative until 2021. Werner has also worked as an Agency Sales representative for Helinox, Rab / Lowe Alpine, and Cocoon. Overall, Werner Schunk has extensive experience in sales and distribution within the outdoor industry.

Werner Schunk pursued their education from 1986 to 1990 at ETH Zürich, where they obtained an Eidg. Dipl. in Sports Sciences and a BA in Tourism. The field of study during this period focused on Sports Sciences and Tourism.
