Tim Monroe

Tim Monroe is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and product development. Currently serving as Hardware Development Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Heliox since August 2021, Tim focuses on the advancement of high power DC fast-charging systems for electric buses and heavy-duty trucks, including 3D design of manufacturing and assembly infrastructure. Prior to this role, Tim spent nearly a decade at Diversified Metal Fabricators as a Product Development Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing new product launches for specialty work vehicles in the railroad industry. Tim's career also includes positions as a New Product Development Engineer at TOTO USA, developing high-end residential plumbing products, and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Newell Rubbermaid, specializing in hand tool production. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 2001 and 2006.
