Ty Allen

Ty Allen is an experienced Controls Engineer currently employed at Heliox since August 2022. Previously, Ty held roles as a Systems Support Engineer Intern at Dorabot from May 2021 to May 2022 and as an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Intern at GE Appliances, where responsibilities included assisting engineering teams with tests and leading cost-cutting projects. Ty also served as a Teaching Assistant for Numerical Methods at The University of Georgia and completed internships at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Capital City Mechanical Services, Inc., focusing on AutoCAD modeling and customer support, respectively. Ty holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Georgia College of Engineering.
