Chris Bruce has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Chris began their career in 2012 as the Software Engineering Manager for Mobile Platform at WellnessFX. Chris then moved on to One Medical Group as the Director of Mobile Platform Engineering. In the same year, they founded Sproutling and served as the Founder and CEO until it was acquired by Mattel in 2016. Chris then served as the Senior Director of Product and Technology for Global Connected Technology Platform at Mattel. In 2018, they joined Piper, Inc. as a Board Member and CTO/CPO (interim). In 2020, they joined the Helium Foundation as a Board Member. Chris is currently the Founder and CEO of BlockJoy and a Limited Partner at VSC Ventures, both of which they began in 2022.
