Helix Education is a nonprofit that partners with educators, schools, programs, and coalitions to create programs and educational solutions through a human-centered design process. 

We started in 2018 with a small student-run cafe in Chicago and the goal of activating real-world community learning across the country. Since then, we’ve grown into a full-service education program designer for K-12 students. 

Helix develops programs that are interdisciplinary, project-based, and build transferable skills. We know that partnership and innovation lead to the best student outcomes, so we use human-centered design to collaborate with educators and teams to develop all programs. 

Since 2018, we’ve served over 5,000 K-12 students in a variety of programs both in school, after school, and during the summer. We’ve worked with students from 124 schools and have served more than 480 educators with professional learning sessions and workshops.
