David Becker

David Becker, PhD, HCLD, CQ, CGMBS, MB(ASCP) has an extensive background in molecular biology and genetics, currently serving as a Distinguished Scientist and Vice President of Quality at Helix since August 2015. Previously, David held the position of President at genes4people for a brief period in early 2015 and was the Chief Scientific Officer at Pathway Genomics from 2008 to 2015, where significant contributions included leading R&D and expanding the company from two to over 200 employees. David's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director of Genomics at TorreyPines Therapeutics from 2000 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology with a focus on Genetics from San Diego State University.
