Devin Looijen

Devin Looijen is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property, currently serving as the Legal Director and Head of Intellectual Property at Helix since September 2022. Prior to this role, Devin worked as a Patent Attorney at Duft & Bornsen, PC from February 2010 to September 2022, where extensive experience in prosecuting patent applications in various fields was gained. Earlier career experiences include summer associate positions at Townsend and Townsend and Crew, and Oblon Spivak, as well as internships in biomedical research at Archus Orthopedics, Mayo Clinic, and Advanced Process Combinatorics. Devin holds a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Technology and IP Law from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University.
